WELCOME!

Thank you for your interest in St. Barbara Catholic School, where you will always find open arms, open minds, and open hearts!

St. Barbara Catholic School welcomes all students with open arms to a faith-filled, challenging academic environment and encourages them to serve others as Jesus did, all within a safe and friendly environment.

Opening the minds of students through the use of innovative methodologies, 1:1 educational technology, and curriculum aligned to national, state, and Diocesan standards, St. Barbara Catholic School encourages students to reach their fullest potential. We provide many opportunities for students to develop their 21st century learning skills using grade-appropriate technology and differentiated instructional methodologies. We also offer Spanish instruction, Physical Education, Art, and advanced math classes. We offer variety of after school sports, an award-winning cheerleading program, Science Club, Chess Club, and Childrens Choir  to help your child develop his or her talents and interests!

We open the hearts of our students by respecting the dignity of each person, serving our community the way Christ calls us to, and by sharing our time, talents, and treasures with others. To remind us that Jesus Christ is the center of all things, we pray together throughout the day, celebrate Mass regularly, receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, in addition to participating in daily Religion instruction. We also participate in many service projects that allow us to help numerous organizations in our local communities through pajama drives, canned food drives, Pennies from Heaven, and Socktober, as well as service projects that allow us to help on a global level such as Jump Rope for Heart and Operation Rice Bowl.

At St. Barbara Catholic School, we believe that parents are the primary educators of our students and we are dedicated to developing and maintaining a strong family relationship within our school community. Our Parents Association and Booster Club provide many opportunities for our parents to be involved in the happenings of our school. We participate in many cultural events to celebrate the diversity within our school. The faculty and staff are dedicated to forming strong lines of communication with parents to best serve our students.
